Location: Bradford / Leeds

Package: - £25,000 - £30,000

Overview:
Unify is excited to announce a new opportunity for an IT Support Technician to work as part of a small team to deliver IT Support to our staff. You will be one of the first point of contact to staff both remotely and on-site for business IT support; ensuring they are provided with quality support and participate in assigned project deliverables as required.

Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Implement suitable fixes and work-around solutions to analyse problems, monitoring progress and keeping customers informed.
  • Visit company offices’ as and when required to facilitate problem resolution.
  • Disable accounts for leavers.
  • Update of email distribution lists.
  • Set up computer installations for new staff/replacement computers.
  • Advise on/purchase of hardware and software.
  • Implement changes to hardware and software, as required.
  • Maintain the asset register whenever kit is purchased/handed over.
  • Liaise with the IT Manager on process changes and impact on IT needs especially where key operational activities are affected.
Essential:
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and 365
  • Effective analytical and problem determination skills
  • Ability to work as part of a large or small team on technical projects
  • Basic PC based hardware engineering
  • Willingness to travel to sites
